Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.

Atezolizumab is a fully humanized monoclonal antibody approved by the U.S. FDA for the treatment of metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It binds to the protein programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) on several tumors. Atezolizumab blocks the binding of PD-L1 with PD-1 and CD80 receptors (B7-1Rs), improving anti-tumor response.

GenScript MonoRab™ Anti-Atezolizumab Antibody (55D8), mAb, Rabbit is produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of partner and B-lymphocytes obtained from a rabbit immunized with Atezolizumab.

Target Information

Atezolizumab is a fully humanized, engineered monoclonal antibody of IgG1 isotype against PD-L1. It blocks the interaction of PD-L1 with PD-1 and CD80 receptors (B7-1Rs). PD-L1 can be highly expressed on certain tumors, reducing activation of immune cells such as cytotoxic T-cells. Inhibition of PD-L1 by atezolizumab removes this inhibitory effect, enhancing anti-tumor response.

This antibody supports research into immune checkpoint inhibition, a strategy for modulating T-cell activation.
