Target Information

Peripherin은 57 kDa 크기의 type III intermediate filament 단백질로, 말초 신경세포(enteric ganglion cells 포함)의 특이적 마커입니다.
발달 중인 말초 신경계에서 발현되며, neural crest 유래 신경세포에서 풍부하게 존재합니다.
S100이나 NSE와 달리 chromaffin 세포를 염색하지 않아 신경세포 표지에 유리합니다.
