Each lot can be produced with identical light and heavy chain populations, eliminating variability typical of polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information
This gene encodes a translation repressor protein that interacts with eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E (eIF4E).
Interaction with eIF4E inhibits assembly of the translation initiation complex and represses translation.
Phosphorylation of this protein in response to signals such as UV irradiation or insulin leads to dissociation from eIF4E and activation of mRNA translation.
