Target Information

Copeptin is a member of the vasopressin/oxytocin family. It is a 39-amino acid peptide produced from cleavage of preprovasopressin during precursor processing and is released along with the hormone arginine vasopressin. Copeptin contributes to the proper structural formation of arginine vasopressin during precursor processing.
