Target Information

Casein kinase II (CK2)는 모든 진핵세포에 존재하는 serine/threonine kinase로, 기본적인 세포 기능에 관여합니다. CK2 효소는 두 개의 α 또는 α' 서브유닛과 두 개의 β 서브유닛으로 구성된 사량체(holoenzyme) 형태를 가지며, α 서브유닛이 촉매 기능을 담당합니다.
CK2는 p53, PTEN, myc, jun, NF-κB 등 종양 억제 및 발생 관련 신호 단백질을 인산화하며, β-catenin을 통한 Wnt 신호 및 Akt 인산화를 통한 PI3K 경로에도 영향을 미칩니다.
