Product Specific Information

The 2D7 monoclonal antibody recognizes human 2D7 antigen expressed exclusively by human basophils. This basophil marker is a 7.2–7.5 kDa protein located in the secretory granules of human basophils. Upon activation, basophils may degranulate, reducing 2D7 antigen availability for staining. This antibody does not stain mast cells.

Applications Reported:
Reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and validated for intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells using the Intracellular Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set (Product #88-8824-00) and protocol.

Use at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test. A test is defined as staining a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Recommended cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
