Target Information
NTRK3 (TRKC) belongs to the neurotrophic factor family, essential for the development and maintenance of the mammalian nervous system. Known substrates include SHC, PI-3 kinase, and PLCG1.
Different isoforms exhibit distinct signaling properties. The protein is widely expressed, mainly in nervous tissue. Isoform B is more abundant in adult brain compared to fetal brain.
TRKC undergoes ligand-mediated auto-phosphorylation and contains two immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains and two leucine-rich (LRR) repeats.
