Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.05% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Kallikrein 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, and 13 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases and are implicated in carcinogenesis.
A novel KLK gene, KLK12, is expressed in a variety of tissues including salivary gland, stomach, uterus, lung, thymus, prostate, colon, brain, thyroid, and trachea.
It has applications as a novel cancer biomarker.
