Product Specific Information

This monoclonal mouse IgG2a, kappa antibody (clone eBM2a) is used as an isotype control for mouse IgG2a antibodies.
It has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis and tested on mouse splenocytes and human peripheral blood cells.
Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Alexa Fluor® 700 emits at 723 nm and is excited with a red laser (633 nm).
Recommended optical setup: 685 LP mirror and 710/20 filter.
Ensure instrument compatibility with this fluorochrome.

Target Information

Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens.
It plays a key role in adaptive immune responses such as opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
Used widely in research and diagnostics, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
