For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Major histocompatibility (MHC) class II molecules are transmembrane proteins essential for immune system regulation.
The RFXANK gene encodes a protein that forms a complex with regulatory factor X-associated protein and regulatory factor-5, binding to the X box motif of MHC class II gene promoters to activate transcription.
This complex interacts with the MHC class II transactivator, determining cell type specificity and inducibility of MHC class II gene expression.
The RFXANK protein contains ankyrin repeats involved in protein-protein interactions.
Mutations in this gene are associated with bare lymphocyte syndrome type II, complementation group B.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, with only one showing activation activity.
