For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Major histocompatibility (MHC) class II molecules are transmembrane proteins essential for immune system regulation.
The RFXANK protein, together with regulatory factor X-associated protein and regulatory factor-5, forms a complex binding to the X box motif of MHC class II gene promoters, activating transcription.
This complex interacts with the MHC class II transactivator, determining cell-type specificity and inducibility of gene expression.
RFXANK contains ankyrin repeats involved in protein-protein interactions, and mutations are associated with bare lymphocyte syndrome type II, complementation group B.
Two transcript variants exist, with only one showing activation activity.
