Product Specific Information

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).


Target Information

HoxA13 and HoxD13 bind to BMP and TGF-beta/Activin-regulated Smad proteins including Smad1 and Smad2, but not Smad4.
Loss of HOXA13 function in humans and mice causes defects in digit and interdigital tissue development.
HoxA13 regulates Bmp2 and Bmp7 expression, linking HOXA13 to specific developmental processes affected by its loss.
