This antibody recognizes native human CEACAM5 and CEACAM6 proteins expressed in transfected mammalian cells.
Target Information
This gene encodes the light subunit of the ferritin protein, the major intracellular iron storage protein in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It consists of 24 subunits of heavy and light ferritin chains. Variation in subunit composition may affect iron uptake and release rates in different tissues. Defects in this gene are linked to neurodegenerative diseases and hyperferritinemia-cataract syndrome. Multiple pseudogenes are associated with this gene.
