Target Information
Cyclins are key regulatory proteins in eukaryotic cell cycle control. Cyclin A accumulates prior to cyclin B and is involved in S phase regulation, associating with Cdk2. Cyclin A1, highly expressed in germ cells, also interacts with Cdk2, p39, and Cdc2 p34, and has been implicated in cell transformation and transcription factor complex formation.
