Product Specific Information
1 µg/mL of MA5-45475 was sufficient for detection of TrpC7 in 10 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 100 kDa.
Target Information
TRPC7 forms a receptor-activated, non-selective calcium-permeant cation channel. It is likely regulated by phosphatidylinositol second messenger systems activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors, and can be activated by diacylglycerol (DAG) or intracellular calcium store depletion.
