Product Specific Information
1 µg/mL of MA5-45473 was sufficient for detection of TrpC7 in 10 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Detects approximately 100 kDa.
Target Information
TRPC7 forms a receptor-activated, non-selective calcium-permeant cation channel. It is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. TRPC7 is also activated by diacylglycerol (DAG) and may respond to intracellular calcium store depletion.
