Target Information
EPS15 is a ubiquitously expressed protein involved in cell growth regulation and may play a role in the regulation of mitogenic signals and control of cell proliferation. Phosphorylation of EPS15 on Tyrosine 849 upon DNA damage is involved in EGFR internalization. Chromosomal aberrations involving EPS15 have been observed in acute leukemias, resulting in aberrant activator proteins.
