Target Information
Anti-Sheep secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for ovine (sheep) immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins. Secondary antibodies enable versatile detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
