Target Information
ERCC1/XPF endonuclease complex는 DNA 손상 복구에 관여하며,
- UV 유도 손상 및 화학적 bulky adducts에 대한 NER(핵산 절제 복구)
- 교차결합(interstrand cross link) 복구 과정에 참여
NER 메커니즘에서 XPG는 DNA lesion의 3' 절단을, ERCC1/XPF 복합체는 5' 절단을 수행함.
ERCC1/XPF는 재조합 중간체 처리에도 관여할 가능성이 있음.
