HSPB1 (heat shock protein beta-1 또는 HSP27)은 세포가 환경적 스트레스에 반응하여 발현을 증가시키는 소형 heat shock 단백질로, 변성된 단백질을 접힘 가능한 상태로 유지하는 분자 샤페론 역할을 합니다. 스트레스 저항성과 액틴 구성에 관여하며, 신경섬유 단백질의 인산화 및 축삭 수송 조절에도 중요한 역할을 합니다. HSPB1 유전자 변이는 Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease 2F 및 Neuronopathy distal hereditary motor 2B와 관련이 있습니다.
