Product Specific Information

• Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water.
• After reconstitution, store undiluted at 4°C in the dark.
• For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
• Rat anti-Mouse CD3 antibody (clone KT3) recognizes the mouse CD3 antigen expressed by mature T cells.

Target Information

The CD3 subunit complex is essential for transducing antigen-recognition signals into T cells and regulating TCR complex expression. It includes CD3 gamma, delta, epsilon, and zeta subunits, which are structurally related members of the immunoglobulin superfamily encoded on chromosome 11. CD3 is expressed on 68–82% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes and 65–85% of thymocytes, but not on B or NK cells. Defects in CD3 genes are associated with CD3 immunodeficiency and altered T cell populations in autoimmune diseases.
