Target Information
세포 외 기질과의 부착은 인테그린 결합 및 세포 확산을 통해 세포 생존을 조절합니다. Anoikis는 인테그린 분리로 유도되는 세포자멸의 분자적 기전입니다. AES(Amino-terminal enhancer of split)는 Groucho/TLE(transducin-like enhancer of split) 계열의 전사 억제 단백질로, 신경발생, 분절화, 성 결정 등에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. AES는 미토콘드리아 단백질 Bit1(Bcl-2 inhibitor of transcription 1)과 복합체를 형성하며, 이는 세포자멸이 시작될 때 세포질로 방출됩니다. 이 복합체는 TLE 단백질군이 조절하는 생존 촉진 유전자 전사 프로그램을 억제하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 흥미롭게도, AES와 Bit1을 발현한 세포의 세포자멸은 α5β1 인테그린을 통한 피브로넥틴 부착 시 억제되며, 이는 Bit1-AES 경로가 인테그린, 특히 α5β1 인테그린에 의해 조절됨을 시사합니다.
