Product Specific Information

The HIS51 monoclonal antibody reacts with rat CD90 and cross-reacts with mouse CD90.1, a GPI-linked membrane molecule.
In rats, CD90 is expressed by hematopoietic stem cells, immature B cells, thymocytes, neurons, inflamed endothelia, and other cell types.
In CD90.1-expressing mouse strains (PL, AKR), CD90 is expressed by early hematopoietic cells in bone marrow, thymocytes, and mature T cells.

Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; recommended ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
Optimize antibody titration for best performance.

Super Bright 645 Dye:

• Excitation: 405 nm (Violet laser)

• Sensitive to light; protect from exposure
• Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) when using multiple Super Bright dyes to minimize non-specific interactions.

Target Information

CD90 (Thy-1) antigen is a GPI-linked glycoprotein of the Immunoglobulin superfamily.
It is expressed in murine T cells, thymocytes, neural cells, Kupffer’s cells, and fibroblasts.
CD90 is implicated in cell-cell or cell-ligand interactions during synaptogenesis and other brain processes.
