Product Specific Information

This antibody recognizes PRMT3 (Protein arginine N-methyltransferase 3).
It binds to a folded domain (amino acids 211–531).
PRMT3 methylates (mono and asymmetric dimethylation) the guanidino nitrogens of arginyl residues in some proteins.

Target Information

Type I protein arginine N-methyltransferases (PRMTs), such as PRMT3, catalyze the formation of asymmetric N(G),N(G)-dimethylarginine (ADMA) residues in proteins.
