Product Specific Information

The GL3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the gamma delta T-cell receptor complex (TCR) on all gamma delta TCR-bearing T cells but does not react with alpha beta TCR. The gamma delta TCR is found in the thymus, epidermis, intestinal epithelium, peritoneal cavity, and lymphoid tissues.

• Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; ≤0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Target Information

TCR gamma/delta (T-cell receptor gamma/delta) are specialized T cells critical for immune discrimination between self and foreign peptides. They play roles in autoimmune disease, tumor recognition, and immune regulation. Gamma-delta T cells are primarily located in epithelial tissues, exhibit limited TCR diversity, and have demonstrated antitumor and immunoregulatory functions.
