Target Information
MiTF는 기본 helix-loop-helix-leucine zipper (b-HLH-ZIP) 전사 인자로, 색소 형성, 비만세포 및 골 발달에 관여합니다.
MiTF 돌연변이는 인간의 Waardenburg 증후군 II형을 유발합니다.
마우스에서는 피부, 눈, 내이의 색소세포 소실, 골경화증, 자연살해세포 및 비만세포 결함이 나타납니다.
MiTF에는 두 가지 isoform이 있으며, NH2 말단에서 66개의 아미노산 차이를 가집니다.
짧은 형태는 멜라노사이트에서 발현되어 52 kDa 및 56 kDa 밴드로 검출되며, 긴 형태는 60–70 kDa 밴드로 나타나며, osteoclast, B16 melanoma 세포, 비만세포 및 심장에서 발현됩니다.
