Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
KLF17 is a transcription repressor that binds to the promoter regions of target genes and inhibits their expression. It acts as a negative regulator of epithelial-mesenchymal transition and metastasis in breast cancer by specifically binding to the 5'-CACCC-3' sequence in the promoter of ID1, a key metastasis regulator, thereby repressing its expression. KLF17 may also function as a germ cell-specific transcription factor involved in spermatid differentiation and oocyte development.
