Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
In mice, CD4+ helper T-cells differentiate into type 1 (Th1) and type 2 (Th2) cells, which are essential for cell-mediated immunity and antibody responses, respectively. Th1 differentiation is primarily influenced by IL12, while IL4 drives Th2 differentiation. Deficiencies in these cytokines, their receptors, or associated transcription factors can impair Th1 or Th2 immune responses. The gene discussed here encodes a protein similar to the mouse T-cell cytokine receptor Tccr at the amino acid level and is predicted to be a glycosylated transmembrane protein. Diseases associated with IL27RA include Hyper IgE Recurrent Infection Syndrome 4 and Crisponi/Cold-Induced Sweating Syndrome 2.
