Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase complex (complex I) of the mitochondrial respiratory chain catalyzes the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone and consists of at least 43 subunits. This complex is located in the inner mitochondrial membrane. The NDUFAF5 gene encodes a mitochondrial protein associated with the matrix face of the inner membrane and is required for complex I assembly. Mutations in this gene can result in mitochondrial complex I deficiency. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
