Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The NOX5 gene is predominantly expressed in the testis and lymphocyte-rich regions of the spleen and lymph nodes. It encodes a calcium-dependent NADPH oxidase that generates superoxide and functions as a calcium-dependent proton channel, potentially regulating redox-dependent processes in lymphocytes and spermatozoa. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
