Product Specific Information

Alexa Fluor™ Plus recombinant antibodies use proprietary dye chemistry for enhanced brightness and improved signal-to-noise ratio compared to standard Alexa Fluor™ conjugates. As recombinant antibodies, they also provide better specificity and lot-to-lot consistency.

Before use, centrifuge the conjugate solution briefly and use only the supernatant to reduce nonspecific background staining caused by protein aggregates.

Applications Tested:
This SolA15 antibody has been validated for immunohistochemistry of mouse spleen tissue, immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometry of HeLa cells.
Recommended usage:

• ICC: 0.5 µg/mL
• Flow cytometry: ≤0.25 µg/test (based on 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)
  Titrate carefully for optimal performance.

Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle. It associates with euchromatin and nucleolar structures and serves as a key proliferation marker since it is absent in G0 cells. Ki-67 expression correlates with tumor grade and is widely used to assess proliferative activity in neoplastic tissues and neuronal cell cycling.
