Target Information
Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein found in chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Together with other core histones, it forms nucleosomes and plays a central role in:

The N-terminal tail of histone H3 undergoes various post-translational modifications, including methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influencing chromatin structure and gene expression.
