Product Specific Information
Product #62272 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains of rabbit IgG and the light chains common to most rabbit immunoglobulins, but does not react with non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.
It has been solid-phase adsorbed to minimize cross-reactivity with human, horse, mouse, swine, goat, and rat serum proteins.
Store protected from light at 4°C. For extended storage, mix with an equal volume of glycerol (final ~50%) and store at -20°C.
DyLight 350 Amax = 353 nm; Emax = 432 nm. Mole Dye/Mole Protein Ratio is lot-dependent.
Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with high specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins.
They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of target antibodies and enable versatile detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence).
Signal amplification allows enhanced sensitivity as multiple secondary antibodies bind a single primary antibody.
Secondary antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host with pooled rabbit immunoglobulins and purified via immunoaffinity chromatography or further modified for optimal performance.
