PA1-525 detects human SKAP55.
It has been successfully used in Western blot, immunocytochemistry, and immunoprecipitation procedures.
By Western blot, this antibody detects an approximately 60 kDa protein from human Jurkat cells.
The antigen corresponds to amino acids 2–105 of human SKAP-55.
Target Information
This gene encodes a T-cell adaptor protein, a class of intracellular molecules with modular domains capable of recruiting additional proteins but exhibiting no intrinsic enzymatic activity.
The encoded protein contains a unique N-terminal region followed by a PH domain and a C-terminal SH3 domain.
Together with adhesion and degranulation-promoting adaptor protein, it plays a critical role in inside-out signaling by coupling T-cell antigen receptor stimulation to integrin activation.
