Antibody detects endogenous levels of DDIT3 only when phosphorylated at Serine 30.
Target Information
GADD153 is a small nuclear protein capable of dimerizing with transcription factors C/EBP alpha and beta. The dimer inhibits normal C/EBP binding and function, while gaining activity toward non-classical C/EBP stress-related targets. Under normal conditions, GADD153 is not expressed at detectable levels but is highly upregulated during cellular or ER stress (e.g., tunicamycin treatment, nutrient starvation, or reducing agents affecting ER calcium flux).
