Product Specific Information

Description:
AER-37 monoclonal antibody recognizes the Fc epsilon RI alpha subunit, an IgE-binding component without signal-transducing ability. FcεRIα is expressed on mast and basophil cells and is upregulated by IgE presence. The FcεRI complex (αβγ₂) plays a key role in IgE-mediated allergic reactions.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported:
Validated for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometry on peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.2 µg)/test in 100 µL final volume (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

NovaFluor Compatibility:
Not compatible with DNA intercalating dyes (PI, 7-AAD, DAPI). Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assessment.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer:
Updated formulation (Cat. No. C001T06F01) improves staining performance. Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails or single-color controls.

Target Information

FceR1 (FcεRIα) is part of the high-affinity IgE receptor complex (αβγ₂). It mediates allergic responses by coupling allergen-bound IgE to mast cells, triggering release of histamine and inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This process underlies hypersensitivity reactions including hay fever and asthma.
