Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine IP-10 (CXCL10). Anti-Murine IP-10 (CXCL10)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Murine IP-10 (CXCL10) matrix.
Sandwich ELISA:
For detection of Murine IP-10 (CXCL10) by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL is required. In conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Murine IP-10 (CXCL10) (500-P129Bt), this antibody detects at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine IP-10 (CXCL10).
Western Blot:
For Western Blot analysis, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. With compatible secondary reagents, detection limit for Recombinant Murine IP-10 (CXCL10) is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Target Information
IP-10 (interferon-gamma induced protein 10 kD; in mouse, also called cytokine responsive gene 2, Crg-2, or mob-1) is a highly inducible, primary response gene belonging to the CXC chemokine superfamily. It was first cloned in 1985.
Functions include:
- Stimulation of monocytes, NK, and T-cell migration
- Regulation of T-cell and bone marrow progenitor maturation
- Modulation of adhesion molecule expression
- Inhibition of angiogenesis
Mig and IP-10 share the same receptor, CXCR3.
