Target Information
This gene belongs to the regulatory factor X (RFX) gene family, encoding transcription factors with a conserved winged helix DNA-binding domain. The RFX3 protein acts as a transcriptional activator, binding DNA as a monomer or heterodimer with other RFX family members. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, with at least one utilizing alternative polyadenylation signals.
