The immunogen is a cytoplasmic domain of recombinant human c-erbB-2/HER-2 oncoprotein (e2-4001) and a synthetic peptide from the C-terminus of human c-erbB-2 protein (3B5).
Target Information
ErbB2 (HER2) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that is overexpressed in certain breast tumors. Herceptin, a monoclonal antibody used in the treatment of metastatic HER2-positive cancer, specifically targets this kinase.
