The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Target Information

PAGE-3 (prostate-associated gene 3 protein), also known as GAGED1 (putative G antigen family D member 1), is a 113 amino acid protein belonging to the GAGE family. The PAGE3 gene spans approximately 6,432 bases and is located on human chromosome Xp11.21.
Chromosome X contains about 153 million base pairs and nearly 1,000 genes. The combination of one X and one Y chromosome leads to normal male development, while two X chromosomes result in normal female development.
Abnormal numbers or combinations of sex chromosomes can lead to conditions such as Turner’s syndrome, Klinefelter’s syndrome, and Triple X syndrome. Other X-linked conditions include color blindness, hemophilia, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which affect males more frequently because they carry only one X chromosome.
