Target Information

CD137 (also known as TNFRSF9 or 4-1BB) is an inducible costimulatory molecule expressed mainly on activated T cells.
Its ligand, 4-1BBL, is found on activated macrophages, mature B cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and myeloid progenitor cells.
CD137 signaling supports the survival and expansion of activated and CD8⁺ memory T cells, while modulating myelopoiesis and dendritic cell development.
Activation of CD137 induces cytokine release profiles that regulate peripheral monocyte survival.
Soluble CD137 may serve as a negative regulator in certain immune responses.
