Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
USP13 is a deubiquitinase that mediates deubiquitination of target proteins such as BECN1, MITF, SKP2, and USP10.
It plays roles in autophagy, endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD), and p53/TP53 regulation.
USP13 stabilizes BECN1 and USP10, forming part of a regulatory loop controlling autophagy and p53 levels.
It also regulates ERAD via deubiquitination of SKP2 and UBL4A, and stabilizes SIAH2 by impairing its autoubiquitination.
USP13 shows weak deubiquitinase activity in vitro, preferentially cleaving Lys-63-linked polyubiquitin chains.
Unlike USP5, it cannot disassemble unanchored polyubiquitin chains. It may also cleave ISG15 in vitro (data to be confirmed).
