Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information

SHP-1 (PTPN6) is a non-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase primarily expressed in hematopoietic cells. It consists of two SH2 domains, a catalytic domain, and a regulatory domain. SHP-1 dephosphorylates target proteins to downregulate tyrosine kinase signaling pathways.

In hematopoietic cells, SHP-1 binds to phosphorylated erythropoietin receptors (EpoR) to negatively regulate growth. Overexpression in epithelial cells leads to dephosphorylation of the Ros receptor tyrosine kinase, reducing Ros-dependent proliferation. In myeloid cells, SHP-1 associates with the IL-3R beta chain to downregulate IL-3-induced phosphorylation and proliferation.
