Product Specific Information

This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Advantages:

  • Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire

This antibody specifically recognizes Human NCF2/NCF-2/P67phox.

Target Information

NCF2, NCF1, and a membrane-bound cytochrome b558 are required for activation of latent NADPH oxidase, essential for superoxide production.
Defects in NCF2 cause chronic granulomatous disease (autosomal recessive cytochrome-b-positive type 2, CGD2), a disorder where neutrophils and phagocytes cannot effectively kill ingested microbes, leading to severe bacterial and fungal infections.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
