Product Specific Information

The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic portion of CD45 exhibits tyrosine phosphatase activity and plays a crucial role in lymphocyte activation.

• Applications Tested: Mouse bone marrow cells (≤ 0.2 µg per test, 100 µL final volume)

NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability analysis.

Each NovaFluor conjugate or kit is shipped with CellBlox Blocking Buffer.
Use 5 µL per sample (10³–10⁸ cells) for single-color or multi-color staining cocktails.

Target Information

CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells (~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins). It is absent on non-hematopoietic tissues and cell lines. CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, JAK kinases, and antigen receptor signaling, playing essential roles in lymphocyte development, activation, and survival. Multiple isoforms arise from alternative splicing and differ in extracellular domains and membrane localization.
