Product Specific Information
The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45, also known as Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells excluding mature erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic portion of CD45 has tyrosine phosphatase enzymatic activity and plays an important role in activation of lymphocytes.
Each product contains:
- 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
- 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse bone marrow cells. Use ≤ 0.4 µg per test in 100 µL final volume. Cell number can range from 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test. Optimize antibody titration for best performance.
Important Notes:
- NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes such as propidium iodide, 7-AAD, and DAPI.
- Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains with NovaFluor dyes for viability assays.
- Use CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) for optimal staining. Add 5 µL per sample before mixing with cells. For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample.
NovaFluor conjugates are based on Phiton™ technology, employing engineered nucleic acid dye structures for optimized fluorescence signatures with minimal spillover and spread.

Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells. It constitutes about 10% of lymphocyte surface proteins and is absent from non-hematopoietic tissues. CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, T/B-cell receptor signaling, cytokine receptor signaling, and integrin-mediated pathways. It plays key roles in lymphocyte activation, survival, and immunological function.
