Product Specific Information

The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA).
CD45 is expressed on all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets.
It functions as a tyrosine phosphatase and plays a key role in lymphocyte activation.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Verified on mouse bone marrow cells at ≤0.4 µg per test (100 µL final volume).
Recommended to titrate antibody for optimal performance.

Note:
NovaFluor dyes are incompatible with DNA-intercalating viability dyes such as PI, 7-AAD, and DAPI.
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assessment.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01):
Improved formulation over CellBlox for optimal NovaFluor staining.
Add 5 µL per sample prior to combining with cells.
For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

NovaFluor Technology:
Based on Phiton™ nucleic acid dye structures engineered for minimal spillover and spectral spread.
Excitation: 509 nm; Emission: 665 nm; Laser: 488 nm (Blue).

Target Information

CD45 (LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells.
It regulates lymphocyte development, antigen signaling, and Src-family kinase activity.
CD45 isoforms differ by alternative splicing and vary among lymphoid subtypes.
It also modulates integrin-mediated signaling, apoptosis, and immune response regulation.
