Target Information
ELOA2 유전자는 SIII (또는 elongin) 전사 연장 인자 복합체의 활성 서브유닛을 암호화합니다. 이 복합체는 RNA polymerase II가 DNA 템플릿을 따라 전사할 때 일시적인 정지를 억제하여 RNA 사슬 연장 속도를 증가시킵니다. 유사 기능을 가진 elongin A가 광범위하게 발현되는 반면, ELOA2는 고환에서 특이적으로 발현되어 정자 형성에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
