Target Information
CD36 (scavenger receptor class B member 3)는 대식세포, 혈소판, 지방세포 등 다양한 세포 표면에 발현되는 단백질로, 지질 대사, 염증, 동맥경화 등과 관련이 있습니다.
산화된 LDL, 장쇄 지방산, 세포사멸체 등 다양한 리간드를 인식·섭취하며, 말라리아 병리에도 관여합니다.
혈소판과 여러 세포에서 thrombospondin 수용체로 작용하며, 혈소판 표면의 주요 당단백질 중 하나입니다.
콜라겐, thrombospondin, 음이온성 인지질, 산화 LDL에 결합하고, Plasmodium falciparum에 감염된 적혈구의 부착을 직접 매개합니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 혈소판 당단백질 결핍을 유발할 수 있으며, 여러 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
연관 질환으로는 Platelet Glycoprotein IV Deficiency 및 Coronary Heart Disease 7이 있습니다.
