Product Specific Information

Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using an EDTA buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is breast carcinoma.

Target Information

Delta 1 Catenin is an efficient tyrosine kinase substrate implicated both in cell transformation by SRC and in ligand-induced receptor signaling through the EGF, PDGF, CSF-1, and ERBB2 receptors.
The association of catenins to cadherins produces a complex linked to the actin filament network, which is crucial for cadherins’ cell-adhesion properties.
